Sarah Kim, CPA, CA – Chief Executive Officer, President

Ms. Kim assumed management of Mountain Investment on March 1, 2023, and was appointed as Chief Executive Officer and President in 2026. Since joining the Company in 2018, she has led several key initiatives, including guiding Mountain Investment through a transition to a more advanced technology platform to support its long-term growth and operational efficiency. Previously, Ms. Kim was a manager at Enns & Company LLP, where she oversaw audit and tax engagements for a portfolio of clients, including Mountain Investment. She holds a Bachelor of Management degree from the University of Lethbridge (2011) and earned her Chartered Accountant designation in 2015. Ms. Kim is actively pursuing additional regulatory designations to prepare for future responsibilities as Chief Compliance Officer and related oversight roles currently held by Mr. Briddon.

David Thompson, CPA, CA – Chairman

Mr. Thompson is a Chartered Accountant with Infinite Chartered Accountants, formerly Thompson Darrach Chartered Accountants, a firm he founded in 1995 that focuses on small business and individual clients. He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Manitoba in 1987 and obtained his CA designation in 1990. Mr. Thompson was the Sole Proprietor of David C. Thompson Prof. Corp. in Okotoks, Alberta from 1995 to 2006 and was a staff accountant at Marsh & McLennan. He was elected Chairman in 2026.

Phillip C. Briddon – Director

Mr. Briddon is one of the founders of Mountain Investment and served as President from the Company’s inception in 2005 until 2025. He continues to serve in several key regulatory capacities for the Company, including Chief Compliance Officer, Exempt Market Dealer, Dealing Representative, Investment Fund Manager, and Portfolio Manager. Mr. Briddon completed the Canadian Securities Course and the Partners, Directors and Senior Officers Course, as required for registration by the Alberta Securities Commission. He also completed the Mortgage Agents’ Program under the Alberta Mortgage Brokers Association at Mount Royal College in the fall of 2005. Mr. Briddon graduated from the Faculty of Business at the British Columbia Institute of Technology in 1979. Effective March 1, 2023, management responsibilities previously held by Mr. and Mrs. Briddon were transitioned to Ms. Kim, and Mr. Briddon was appointed Chairman of the Board. He served in that role until 2026 and continues to sit on the Board of Directors, providing ongoing guidance and oversight in his capacity as Chief Compliance Officer and in other regulatory roles.

Linda A. Briddon – Director and Treasurer

Mrs. Briddon was formerly the Chief Financial Officer of Mountain Investment from 2007 to 2021, following 18 years as Director of Canadian Operations for a U.S.-based public multinational corporation operating in 50 countries. She is experienced in all aspects of administration, accounting and audit, including compliance with the U.S. Sarbanes-Oxley requirements for subsidiaries of U.S. corporations. Mrs. Briddon graduated in Computer Programming from Cariboo College and holds a university certificate in Accounting.

David McKenzie, K.C. – Director

Mr. McKenzie is a lawyer at WestCan Law and one of the original founders of Mountain Investment. Since being called to the bar in 1993, he has advised small and mid-sized enterprises in the areas of exempt market securities offerings, bank financing, secured lending and foreclosure on secured debt, corporate finance, contracts and commercial obligations, business and asset acquisitions and dispositions, and commercial transactions. Mr. McKenzie is currently a member of the Law Society of Alberta as well as the Calgary Bar Association. Mr. McKenzie was elected as a Member of Parliament in the 2025 federal election and is now primarily focused on his political responsibilities. The Company greatly values his legal expertise and insight, which he continues to provide to the Board and Management as his schedule permits.

Gary Agnew – Director

Mr. Agnew is a former senior partner with Cenera, formerly Canadian Career Partners. He has more than 25 years of experience in the field of human resources, leadership coaching and mentoring, career management and transition and executive search. Over the past 10 years, Mr. Agnew has made significant contributions to the development of Internet-based tools for human resources professionals. He holds several professional designations in his field, has volunteered extensively in leading positions with numerous professional and charitable organizations, including advisory roles with both the University of Calgary and Mount Royal College, and has published several works in his field. Mr. Agnew is a former partner of Ernst & Young and has been an active investor in the residential real estate market in Calgary for the past 15 years.

Glen Gorrie – Director

Mr. Gorrie has held various lending & management positions with Canada’s largest chartered bank for over 30 years. He presently is retired as Senior Commercial Account Manager, specializing in businesses with lending & advice requirements in the $1 to $10 million range. He has received several significant performance awards with his organization and continues to be heavily involved in his local community.

Greg McIntomny, MA, CPA, CA – Director

Mr. McIntomny is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Master’s Degree in Entrepreneurial Studies from York University. He previously held a management position with Nortel Networks’ Consumer Products Division and served as an instructor in the Faculty of Business at Mount Royal College. Mr. McIntomny currently provides financial consulting services to various higher education institutions.

Chase Olsen – Director

Mr. Olsen joined the Board of Directors of Mountain Investment in 2025, bringing nearly 20 years of specialized real estate experience. Throughout his career, he has developed comprehensive expertise in property valuation, market trend analysis, and complex financing strategies. By leveraging his market knowledge and broad technical proficiency in risk assessment, Mr. Olsen provides valuable oversight to the Company’s mortgage lending activities. His focus is on driving sustainable growth and enhancing the Company’s risk management frameworks.
